An all-year-round hat intended for all kinds of weather, especially rainy weather - the quality of the hat is significantly thicker and stiffer than the normal summer safari hat, which by the way clatters together at the slightest shower, so let's call it a waterproof outdoor hat!
It is water-repellent from the start and easy to maintain - when worn, apply a layer of wax (possibly oilskin spray) and the hat is like new and 100% water-resistant.
The rustic look that gives the hat the right beautiful raw effect is the wax-treated cotton that appears in a wet look - something that both fish and deer like!
