We have chosen this handsome straw hat as a little Italian mafioso between our original panama hats.
It is well enough of the panama type and is insanely delicious, unlike our other traditional panama hats and it is not made of straw from Ecuador but of treated paper.
Toyo is an Asian type of straw that is machine-braided from shellac-treated rice paper - Sometimes also called "Italian Panama", as it is often braided in a pattern reminiscent of Panama - It must not be confused with Original Panama, which the price difference between the two types also reflects.
MJM Rom is designed in Italy with a nice stylish brown leather edge band - this hat is made with straw and appears a little heavier than the light Equador straw hats but is still a perfect hat for a hot summer day, so you keep your head cool and your hair in place
The sweatband is made of abundant double-stitched cotton
These toyo hats are bright, extra light and breathable and can be advantageously worn as an accessory to summer's light, bright clothing.
