The leather for this exclusive and beautiful belt comes from Spanish cowhide croupons (the back = the best part of the skin) from bulls that have grazed on the north side of the Pyrenees (the real sun exposure on the skins) and is tanned in a very skilled Spanish tannery, which tans with vegetable extracts so the leather is free of chromium, other metals, pcp, formaldehyde, pesticides and azo-dyes. The thickness can vary but is typically 2.8-3.4 mm - the width of the belt is 38 mm.
The belts in the Spanish leather have rounded, polished edges, which are provided with black color.
