If you have seen the TV series Shameless, you have also guaranteed to see beautiful Sierra played by Ruby Modine in the cafe in her uniform which is characterized by the indispensable leather braces.

When we asked the factory in Løgumkloster if they could make some similar leather harnesses for us, they found an old model saved from World War II which was completely identical including the use of elastic harness tape in the back. Back then, the leather braces were made out of necessity because rubber for the braces' fabric was not available, so they were content with using etastik tape in the back.

However, Johnny from Scanbelt has updated the design and the production method so that they are contemporary and we think he has done an excellent job!

The braces themselves are made of 2.5 cm wide and 3 mm thick core leather which is closed on the sides with lacquer - the leather is the best European leather vegetable tanned without the use of poisons and heavy metals.

For the Y base piece, elastic brown fabric is used which is also used for our normal braces, this piece is adjustable from 15 cm up to 30 cm and also gives 10-15% elasticity, so you have a very comfortable pair of braces which can be adjusted so that they fits perfectly.

The front is made as 2 belts that can be adjusted from 0-20 cm - the total harness length is 135 cm which fits well-grown men and down to 100 cm which is a small women's size, so unless you are much over 190 cm you do not need to measure.
