Viscose is often called a natural material. Technically, viscose is artificially produced, but all the raw materials are natural materials such as wood, grass, bamboo and other plants. This means that viscose behaves exactly as a natural material would.

Because all the raw materials are natural, viscose is similar to cotton in many ways. It is both soft and supple and quite dimensionally stable. Viscose is also very good at absorbing moisture and conducting heat away from the body (in this case, the head).
