MJM Capai Panama Straw Hat Natural - ORIGINAL PANAMA HAT in the classic style

An MJM panama hat in absolute top class quality in natural colored straw with a traditional black colored band.

Capai is a genuine handwoven Panama Hat designed in Italy with an elegant black edge band in 3 cm width.

The straws are approx. 2-3 mm wide and woven so the hat gets a bit of structure and character.

The sweat band is made of cotton, the edge band is made of grosgrain woven cotton.

MJM Panama hats are made from hand-woven straw sheets from Ecuador and then shaped and sewn in Italy.

As something innovative, MJM has now made the sweatband so that it can be regulated, which means you can adjust the size if the wind teases, you just pull the 2 cords and tie a bow! We have these hats in stock at home in S, M, L and XL so you get a hat that fits (remember to measure if you don't know your size).

The genuine toquilla straws are extracted from palm fronds and then hand-braided by specially trained Ecuadorian artisans, whose braiding tradition has been passed down through generations.

All MJM Panama hats are produced in Italy. The hand-woven palm straws arrive as a large round plate from Ecuador, which is then pressed into the desired fit.
