We are selling here an original corn pipe from The Missouri Meerschaum Company - model 690 with the nickname Legend in a slightly bent version (as pictured). Handmade in the USA since 1869!

A straight out of the pocket corn pipe in natural color with transparent brownish orange mouthpiece - you will receive one with a filter but beware it is not a standard 9mm filter - if you want more filters contact us and we will get them home.

Connoisseurs of corn pipes reportedly smoke nothing else and they should be allowed to.

The original from Missouri, USA. The corn cob pipes are made from a special type of corn which is grown especially for their production. This corn is larger and has a harder core than the usual corn. The Missouri Meerschaum Company is the oldest and largest producer of corn cob pipes. In 1878 the company's founder, Henry Tibbe, patented his method to make the pipe fire-resistant by using a special paste. Probably this explains the origin of the name "Missouri Meerschaum". "Missouri Meerschaum" is a trademark and a well-known name for corn cob pipes from the Missouri Meerschaum Company in Washington, Missouri. Farmers and farm workers love these pipes. And who could imagine Popeye without this pipe?
