The ball itself is approximately 3 mm in diameter and is made of an organic material that can be easily broken with a click.

The contents of the ball are a liquid with a nature-identical aroma.

The aroma balls are approved in the EU for food use, but must never be used orally or directly on the skin, but only used with an absorbent object as a proxy.
