Viscose is a semi-synthetic fabric made from processed wood pulp, typically from trees such as pine, beech and eucalyptus. Although derived from natural cellulose, it undergoes chemical processing to become a textile, giving it a semi-synthetic classification. It is often referred to as "artificial silk" because of its luxurious drape and feel, reminiscent of silk, but at a lower price.

Modal is a semi-synthetic fabric made from cellulose from beech trees. It is a type of rayon but is often considered superior due to its softness, breathability and durability. Modal is known for its smooth, silky feel and ability to retain its shape and strength even when wet, unlike some other rayons.

So you get a tree around your neck :-)
